Since I just posted my first deviation in about a month yesterday, and then – gasp! – another one today, I remembered that I actually like being productive. However, whenever I make any sort of specific goal to do with how often I complete a piece of artwork (eg. once per day/week/etc.), I inevitably end up burning myself out and completely neglecting my artwork altogether. I don’t like that. I ended up realizing that, by setting such a goal for myself for no reason, it ends up being counterproductive because I inevitably pressure myself to try and come up with something, just for the sake of doing something.
